Parks & Recreation Commission

Overview

The Parks and Recreation Commission is made up of seven city residents appointed by the City Council. This advisory body is responsible for:

Recommending improvements to the City's park and recreation system
Developing both short-and-long term plans for park and recreational needs
Enhancing Excelsior's parks by evaulating amenities and proposing new programs and ideas

The Commission plays an important role in supporting a vibrant, active community and preserving public spaces for all to enjoy.

Time: 6:15 pm
When: Second Tuesday following the second Monday of each month (may occasionally shift due to holidays or other scheduling conflicts)
