The Council has directed staff to begin a Residential Review Board Research Committee consisting of two members of the public, two members of the Heritage Preservation Commission, and two members of the Planning Commission. All members are expected to have the time and willingness to dedicate to research and attend meetings and have expertise in residential design. The Council has asked that these members also help recruit three expert members (preferably on a volunteer basis) to help lead the process. The committee will conduct research on process, costs, and all other details associated with a residential review board and bring back a draft process to both the Heritage Preservation Commission and Planning Commission for review and ultimately Council for approval.
Meetings are expected to begin mid-October and go through mid-January. Meeting dates and times will be determined according to members' schedules and will be once or twice a month.
