**Please verify that the property you’re requesting a permit for is within the Excelsior city limits. (Helpful tip: any address with more than THREE digits isn’t in Excelsior. You can search Carver County Property Information or Hennepin County Property Maps to find the correct city)**

If the City receives a permit and fee for a property that is not in Excelsior, we will notify you, but the information will not be mailed back to you.



We have recently been made aware of several fraudulent invoices issued to applicants that indicate they are from the City of Excelsior. Please note:

1. The City of Excelsior will never request a wire transfer from an applicant.

2. City Commissions do not issue invoices.

3. If you receive an invoice that appears to be from the City, and you have questions, please call us to verify it is legitimate at 952-474-5233
