For Visitors & Customers
Free parking is available to the public behind the buildings on the east and side of the 200 block of Water Street. The area is highlighted in the map below. The municipal lot has and area for six-hour parking (striped with yellow paint) and three-hour parking (striped with white paint) between the hours of 6:00 am and 6:00 pm Memorial Day through Labor Day. Outside of those times, there is a 12-hour restriction in the six-hour areas.
Free On-street parking along Water Street is also available but limited to two hours. Additionally, several downtown merchants provide their own parking.
Pay to Park - Pay for parking is available adjacent to the Commons and extends south on Lake Street and on Excelsior Boulevard. Parking stations require your license plate number. Parking payments are enforced with wireless devices so there is no need to place your receipt on the vehicle dashboard. The pay stations do not accept cash or coins.
Additional parking is available on Second Street between Center Street and Morse Avenue and Third Street between Center Street and Mill Street. Those parking in these areas must download the Premium Parking App (App Store for iPhones or Google Play Store for Android devices).
A handicap permit, as defined by state statute, will allow individuals with physical limitations to park in handicap parking spaces.
